Love looong weekends!

Happy President's Day!
yesterday...
No, we didn't go to Mt. Rushmore over the long weekend.
Mt. Rushmore was our last stop on our family vacation roadtrip in the summer.
A great story lies behind this mountain.
Beautiful place.
So glad we stopped.

On Sunday night, we had our Family Home Evening Lesson on President's Day.
Go here to find out more about Family Home Evening.
Go here to see the lesson I got some great information from.
Including an entertaining Presidential Fun Facts 2 minute video.
We watched it a couple of times.
I'm so lucky to live in this great country.

On Monday morning, we packed up all of our sleds, tubes, and snow gear and headed up to
Cub River.
A dear high school friend lives there and invited us up for some snow fun.
This is my favorite picture of the day...
ok, just one of them.

Does that scream happiness or what?

Our little miss all bundled up
in snow bibs that are 2 sizes too big
and snow shoes that are 4 sizes too big.
She doesn't mind one bit.

The Mr. even surprised us by taking the day off to go on our adventure with us.

Ali is not a fan of sledding!

Meet Rhino.
Rhino pulled the kids on the sled.
Lots of giggles and squeals!

The adults went on a snow shoe adventure.

Two of my dearest high school friends!

Many beautiful sights.

Untouched snow is one of my favorite sights to see.

A little joy ride after digging Rhino out of the snow.

The beautiful sunset we enjoyed on our journey home.

A FuN and eXhAuStInG day!
