Summer, summer, summer.....

It's hard to believe that summer is almost at an end. Our summer days have been filled with such things as........

Baseball Parker was elated to be invited to play on an all star team.............and then crushed when he discovered we would be in Oregon and he wouldn't be able to participate. Maybe next year P-Diddy!

A visit from Grandpa!
Grandpa came all the way from Hawaii and made several different stops in different states to visit family. Yes, Dylan actually got him to play the Wii! We won't say who won....
A family bike ride..............
Yes, we just accomplished ONE bike ride and that was at the beginning of the summer before my belly got too massive. Even at that with every pedal my knees went "bump, bump, bump" into my belly.
What's the wagon for you ask? Well, we don't have a bike trailer so we tie the wagon onto Rob's bike for Dyl to ride in. It works quite well, actually.

Swim lessons......

Too fun for words!

The kid's experienced their first 3D movie...

Grandma treated the kids and I to the movie Up. Thanks Gram!

Backyard campout!

Of course, this back yard camp out was threatened with rain, thunder, and lightening, but miraculously the kids slept through the noise!

Summer is winding down.
Back to School Night is tonight...................unfortunately, we'll be missing it. You see, I'm in the hospital typing between contractions.
Yes, it's true. Baby Donigan #4 is on the way coming about 2 weeks early. Gotta go breath through this contraction!!!
What an exciting way to end the summer!

Evil Bunny

Let me introduce you to the Evil Bunny Plate.
My mom recently gave us this plate. Yes, a one of a kind by the one and only, ME. I was six when I made this plate.

Why the Evil Bunny Plate? My kids have named it this because they think the bunny looks evil; particularly his eyes. OK, I can see how they think that.

Funny enough, the Evil Bunny Plate has become a coveted item at our house. Yes, it's true. My kids argue over whose turn it is to use it.

Who would have thought that something made 27 years ago and labeled "evil" would become such a treasure........

Endless fun

Yes, the fun was endless.

One of our favorite past times (day and night) was to bundle up and sit out on the porch to enjoy the crashing waves.

We were treated with a free concert by my nephew Brock. Whom is self-taught I might add.
We nick named him Brock Star!

Me and my hermano...

Love this one taken by my sis-in-law....

These personality shots were captured by the one and only, Alexia Donigan.

On our way home, we made a quick stop at Multnomah Falls.

A fabulous way to end a treasured vacation.

Bubbles

Thank you Walmart.
That's right, Walmart.

I purchased bubble wands at Walmart. For only $3.00, my children were provided with hours of fun on the beach.

Watching my children find so much joy with bubbles on the beach, was truly a highlight of my vacation.

Enchanting Sea Life

We had fun at the Oregon Coast Aquarium with my bro and his fam.

While we were being entertained by the sea lions, my brother took this beautiful pic of Lexi. Love it!

My enchanting creatures......

Heceta Head Light House.

The stories and history behind light houses are always fascinating to hear about.

While waiting for the rest of the fam to finish at the light house, Rob and the kids explored.

There were a couple of scenic stops we investigated after the light house. This one was at Strawberry Hill.

The rocks were covered with seal lions!

Sea lions may be stinky, but they are fun to watch and get close to!

The Oregon fun continues.........

We had a fun day shopping for souvenirs in Newport with Grandma.

Awww, the beach. Endless hours of fun.

Lexi is a trooper and always becomes part of her daddy's beach creations.

This time Rob's creation was an octopus.

Before Rob could finish Lex started yelping, "Ow, ow, ow! Something's biting my legs!" Darn sand fleas.
So Lexi was rescued and the octopus was no longer.

Anyone up for playing catch with a mud ball?

Dylan attempted with his Uncle Caleb....

We went on a very picturesque hike on the Hobbit Trail.

It is thought that during WWII trenches were dug to be used for coastal defense. Years later, the overgrown trenches and trails have become very lush and vibrant and is known as the Hobbit Trail.
Rob and Dyl with Aunt Mary Allison and cousin Mariah
My little hobbits.

At the end of the trail you are rewarded with this amazing view and fun in the sand.
