The Oregon fun continues.........

We had a fun day shopping for souvenirs in Newport with Grandma.

Awww, the beach. Endless hours of fun.

Lexi is a trooper and always becomes part of her daddy's beach creations.

This time Rob's creation was an octopus.

Before Rob could finish Lex started yelping, "Ow, ow, ow! Something's biting my legs!" Darn sand fleas.
So Lexi was rescued and the octopus was no longer.

Anyone up for playing catch with a mud ball?

Dylan attempted with his Uncle Caleb....

We went on a very picturesque hike on the Hobbit Trail.

It is thought that during WWII trenches were dug to be used for coastal defense. Years later, the overgrown trenches and trails have become very lush and vibrant and is known as the Hobbit Trail.
Rob and Dyl with Aunt Mary Allison and cousin Mariah
My little hobbits.

At the end of the trail you are rewarded with this amazing view and fun in the sand.

You went to Yachats?!? I love that place. We've been there lots because Bryce is from Eugene. I am so jealous...that's such a fun place to visit in the summer. How are you feeling?

K, so I want you to take us on a vacation there sometime. It's gorgeous and looks like there's tons to do. We could get a few families and rent a place like you did! ;-)
