Baby Animal Days

Every year American West Heritage Center (a fabulous historic farm) in Cache Valley, holds Baby Animal Days. The animals are countless and there are activities galore!

We've gone for the past two years with Rob's mom, brother and his family. The kids have a fantastic time.

I was putting my bag down to help Lexi climb up on this TALL bike and before we knew it she surprised all the on-lookers and climbed all the way up with ease and speed.
There are many different kinds of animals to pet and love.

Cute and cuddly ones ...

and not so cute and cuddly ones. Ew!

Little ones to explore....

and bigger ones to ride.

The kids enjoyed learning how to use lots of scary weapons.

For some crazy reason, my family decided to taste....(you might need a bowl for this one) dried BBQ flavored worms!

Yes. They all did it.

Not one of them was grossed out by this snack. Just me!
Rob was the instigator of this whole idea. YUCK!

I told him he didn't get kisses for a month!

NOT a good thing to eat when your wife is pregnant and nauseous.
Until next year, dear soft cuddly animals, slimy creepy reptiles, nerve racking weaponry, and oh-so-disgusting crunchy worms!
P.S. I didn't hold true to my threat. My hubby has not gone a month without kisses. Maybe next year........
